Sorsi da Star in Rome

Sorsi da Star – Una storia fatta dal gusto at Città del Gusto until April 10^th.

In Città del Gusto from Feb 9th until April 10^th there will be the exhibition dedicated to the “taste”: “Sorsi da Star – Una storia fatta dal gusto”. The exposition is composed from unpublished or stolen photos with cinema stars while drinking. We are normally used to see movie stars always perfect but in these picture we shall see them during common moments of real life, when they don't know they are spied. The stars we can see are for example Gassman, Paul Newman, Robert Redford, beautiful Sofia Loren. Together with these pictures, there will also be a collection of 30 advertisment posters and famous commercials of the most known drinks which are original Made in Italy.You will also find Walter Chiari's unpublished picture when he avidly drinks with his costume still on during the making of “I Magnifici Tre (1961) hidden between the staff's machines. There is also Elsa Martinelli's photo, during the making of Mauro Bolognini's “La notte brava” (1959) and Claudia Cardinale during a small break of Luigi Comencini's “La ragazza di Bune” (1963). But that's not all! Between the big Italian actors, there is Alberto Sordi during the making of Dino Risi's “Il Vedovo” (1959), Nino Manfredi during the making of Franco Zeffirelli's “Camping” (1957) and “L'Impiegato” (1959) when he drinks a glass of water; there is also Gina Lollobrigida's picture while making Jean Delannoy's “L'amante Italiana” (1966). You can't miss this exhibition where you'll see movie stars making common things and it'll also be an occasion to remember the past!
