Machina,
this is this event's name, full of history and evolutions made from
man in technology. It's a long path made between technological
conquers in Ancient Rome. This exhibition has been directed by Rita
Correnti Percivalli, from Associazione Piazza Duomo and it's
sponsored by Department of Cultural Policies in Rome, in
collaboration with the University La Sapienza, the Foundation Rome,
the Lazio Region and the Ministry of University and Research. Among
archaeological finds, developed in digital form, you will have the
opportunity to take a leap into the past looking for to intellectual
research and experimentation. There are, indeed, machines rebuilt
with a long process of research, with which the ancient romans tried
to show clearly the engineering principles that led to the practical
implementation of refined insights into the following fields:
measurement of time and space, construction , hydraulics, armaments,
communications and transport, medicine, metallurgy and carpentry,
glass and clay, agriculture, arts, music and fun. For more
